Ghouls or are decrepit, rotting, zombie-like mutants. They are victims of heavy radiation poisoning which results in their skin decaying and, paradoxically, greatly extends their individual lifetime.

  • Feral Ghoul

    Feral ghouls are among the more unfortunate mutants whose minds have deteriorated from prolonged radiation poisoning, becoming instinct-driven savages, attacking anyone and anything relentlessly, save for other ghouls.
  • Glowing Ones

    Glowing ones are ghouls who have absorbed so much radiation that they glow in the dark. They have become living conduits of radiation to the point that radiation actually heals their combat injuries. Being in close vicinity to a Glowing One counts as being in an area of High radiation. Glowing Ones can heal one wound in the Frequency listed on the Radiation chart above.
  • Radscorpion

    Radscorpions are large, mutated scorpions commonly found in and around abandoned structures. They originated from the North American Emperor scorpion, which were prolific in many pet stores at the time of the Great War.
  • Giant Rat

    Giant rats are an oversized version of the Old World’s common rodents.

    Numerous raider groups can be found across the wasteland. Most are composed of only a few people scraping out a living by preying on other inhabitants of the wastes.
